Welding Commenced by CPP4 in Saudi Heavy Oil Pipeline


On September 26, the CPP4 Section of Saudi Aramco Heavy Oil Pipeline Project starts welding work.

The Heavy Oil Pipeline Project is the third project of CPP with Saudi Aramco following the Ras Tanura Project and the Harald Project. It is also a key project of Saudi Aramco to promote the development of the western coast by connecting the East and West heavy crude oil pipelines.

The project is EPC contracted by CPP. The total length of the designed pipeline is 163.5 kilometers, including construction of the 48-inch main line and station, valve chambers, pressure testing and other supporting facilities. The project is jointly constructed by CPP No.1 Construction Company (CPP1) and CPP No.4 Construction Company (CPP4).
